Collect/Project is a transatlantic ensemble comprised of two German (Frauke Aulbert, voice; Eva Zöllner, accordion) and two American artists (Shanna Gutierrez, flute; Francisco Castillo Trigueros, electronics). Critical to Collect/Project’s mission as an ensemble is redefining the role of a musician today through innovating how and where performances occur.
The primary concert program consists of music by two German (and Germany-based) composers – Gordon Kampe and NEO Hülcker – and two American composers who have incorporated specific ties to Germany and German culture in their pieces – George Lewis and Christopher Trapani.
