Join the Los Angeles Warburg Chapter of the American Council on Germany for a discussion and luncheon with Dr. Barbara Henricks, the Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, who will discuss “The Transition to a Climate-Friendly and Prosperous World.” This discussion takes place Monday, February 27 at 12:15 p.m.
Dr. Barbara Hendricks has been the Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building, and Nuclear Safety since December 2013. Before that, she served as the Federal Treasurer of the Social Democratic Party, beginning in 2007. Since 1994, Dr. Hendricks, who has a doctorate in History, has represented her home district of Kleve in the German Bundestag.
