Sintratec and 3D Factory MX are joining forces on the Mexican market. With this partnership, the manufacturer of modular 3D printers for selective laser sintering (SLS) applications is confident of expanding its footprint in Central America.
The 3D printer manufacturer Sintratec, which is based in Brugg in the canton of Aargau, is joining forces with 3D Factory MX as a distribution partner for the Mexican market, further details of which can be found in a press release. The company is headquartered in Monterrey, a city located in the northeast of Mexico that is also considered one of the most important industrial locations in Latin America. With this partnership, Sintratec hopes to strengthen its presence on the Mexican market and expand its sales and service network across Central America.
3D Factory MX was founded in 2014 and, according to the Sintratec press release, has successfully established itself as a competent 3D printing distributor with a focus on stereolithography (SLA) and fused deposition modeling (FDM). Through the partnership with Sintratec, 3D Factory MX has expanded its product portfolio to include selective laser sintering (SLS).
With the introduction of the Sintratec All-Material Platform (AMP) in 2022, the company ushered in a new era of SLS, according to information from Sintratec itself. The scalable 3D printing system is characterized by its multiple material capability and modules that are compatible with each other. Furthermore, the AMP enables both the printing of polymers and metal powders as part of what is known as a cold metal fusion process.

He believes that the partnership with Sintratec will “help to accelerate the continuous growth in the Mexican market”.
