On the first day of the European Council in Brussels, EU leaders agreed that the EU-Turkey Action Plan remains a priority in addressing the refugee crisis. It was clear that leaders want to protect the EU’s borders, reduce the number of refugees and counter illegal migration. The EU-Turkey Action plan will therefore get special attention.
