WHAT IS THIS?
DANKhaus is proud to have received the accreditation from the ÖSD as one of their very few testing centers in the US! We are now certified to test German on the levels A1, A2, B1 & B2 (C1 and C2 coming soon) – corresponding to our own Beginner I – IV and Intermediate classes. With a ÖSD certificate you prove your German proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which is the internationally recognized standard of language skill recognition.
You can use this for citizenship requirements, university requirement, or just to prove your skills!
HOW DO I TAKE THE TEST?
The test is comprised of two parts: One part is writing, listening, and reading. The other one is speaking. To familiarize yourself with this format we recommend to take part in our workshop:
- Monday, November 13: A1 & A2 level 6:30-8:00pm
- Wednesday, November 15: B1 & B2 level: 6:30-8:30pm
Please note: The workshop does not guarantee passing the exam. However, we highly recommend taking it, because you will know the format and the general questions that will be asked.
The actual exam dates are the following:
- A1 & A2
- Monday, November 27, 6pm: Written Exam
- Saturday, December 2, starting at 10am: Oral Exam
- B1 & B2
- Saturday, December 2, starting at 9am: Written Exam and Oral Exam
PRICE & DEADLINE
The exam costs:
- A1 & A2: $150
- B1 & B2: $175
The Workshop can be added for:
- A1 & A2: $50
- B1 & B2: $60
The deadline to register for the exams this year is September 30, 2023.
