Shortly after its World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, the North American rights for the boxing documentary “Klitschko” about the legendary Klitschko Brothers, directed by international Emmy award winning German director Sebastian Dehnhardt, was acquired by Corinth Film.

So far, the film has received strong reviews and an enthusiastic audience reaction. The US theatrical release is planned for Fall 2011.

“It is an honor to work with filmmakers and boxers of this caliber. I am thrilled to be able to share with US audience the incredible story of Klitschko brothers and their rise from very humble beginnings in Ukraine to becoming Heavy Weight Boxing Champions of the World” stated John Poole Sr., owner of Corinth. “A dream come true – being selected by Tribeca Film Festival and immediately selling “Klitschko” afterwards” stated BROADVIEW Pictures’ Leopold Hoesch, the film’s producer. “I am very happy that our film is in the hands of such expert distributor, and I am very excited that our documentary will be released in the US”, said Wladimir Klitschko, whose upcoming fight against David Haye is set for July 2 in Hamburg.
