Kemaro AG, a robotics company based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, has been able to significantly expand its production capacities since the end of last year. According to an article published by startupticker.ch, Kemaro has doubled its headcount and achieved triple digit percentage growth. Kemaro puts this growth down to the production of industrial cleaning robots. The K900 dry cleaning robot is suitable for cleaning industrial units. According to the company, the robots help to at least halve the effort required for cleaning processes.
All cleaning robots are manufactured in Eschlikon in the canton of Thurgau, where Kemaro has moved to a new production facility for this purpose. As a result, the number of employees working in production has been increased to 40. In addition, the company moved to strengthen its management team, while a new innovation team was formed under the leadership of co-founder Thomas Oberholzer. The sales division was also expanded to include employees in France, Spain, Germany and the USA.
Kemaro robots are available in 20 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia, where the company works together with a total of 30 distributors.
“On our domestic market, we have a close and direct link to our customers”, comments Jacques Couniot, CRO of Kemaro, in the press release. The company is also set to expand in additional regions in the near future. “At the same time, we are focused on establishing a US sales company in order to be closer to our overseas customers”.
