Carrie Underwood will play opposite True Blood’s Stephen Moyer in NBC’s The Sound of Music December 5th live holiday production.
Anna Paquin’s husband will play Capt. Georg von Trapp, the decorated WWI veteran and single father of seven.
The three-hour production is based on the original 1959 Broadway production. 1965 it was adapted into one of America’s most beloved movies and won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
