Music by Tyrolean Manu Delago

We know that Germans are crazy enough to use a WOK, yes, the cooking instrument as sports equipment, but who know that one could make music with two of them?

Tyrolean Manu Delago is playing these wok-drums invented by two Swiss in 2000 in Bern. “Hang” is the Bernese word for “Hand”. He studied drums at the “Tiroler Landeskonservatorium” and at “The Mozarteum” aswell as Jazz drums at London’s “Guildhall School of Music & Drama”.
The exceptional soudworld’s the Tyrolean is created already attracted Björk’s attention and he famously played with her.
