Sandbox Theatre is coming to the Germanic American Institute, with three performances of their new play In the Treetops, celebrating the life and works of Minnesota-German, New Ulm-native Wanda Gag. A pioneering illustrator and children’s author, Gag is best known for her “Millions of Cats,” “Tales from Grimm,” and “The Funny Thing.”
Filled with music, puppetry, song, and movement, In the Treetops will appeal to both children and adults.
