Shy Christian takes on a job at a German superstore. He is taken under the wing of Bruno from the beverages department, who tries to teach him how to operate a forklift, as well as negotiate the complicated web of workplace rivalries and alliances. But it’s the relationship he develops with the kind Marion from the confectionery department that truly makes his heart sing. What follows is a richly empathetic and gentle human drama.
