As we move through the longest nights of the year I pray that we might take time to be still, to pray, and to ask God to set our hearts on what is truly important. And if you are facing grief, discouragement, or despair, I pray that you might find the faith to reach out to someone and ask for their help. God does not want us to be alone in the dark. God gives to each other, and supplies us with spiritual power to support and encourage each other. Reach out. Call someone up. Come to church. Pray. This is the season for new acts of faith. This is the season to discover God’s faithfulness.
