US President Joe Biden is to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the White House on March 3, 2023, the US federal government announced on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
On top of the agenda will be Russia’s war against Ukraine and how to support Kiev. By the time the two leaders meet, the war will be more than a year old.
Other security questions, such as relations with China, are expected to be discussed.
This will be Scholz’s second visit to the White House since he became chancellor in December 2021.
