CA: Virtual GABA Event May 11: Back to Normal? What will the Workplace be like after Stay-at-Home Order is Lifted?

Due to the non-gathering regulations being in place during the coronavirus outbreak, the German-American Business Association (GABA) has changed their popular business and social get-togethers to a series of virtual events.

The next event  is not to be missed: On May 11, 2020 at 5.30 PM, GABA invites you to join the zoom meeting
Back to Normal? What will the Workplace be like after Stay-at-Home Order is Lifted?”

Many California workplaces have been closed since mid-March. After nearly two months, various states around the US are reopening, and California is slowly joining them. Will there be a “new normal” in the California workplace, and what will it be like for employers and employees?

Join GABA for a discussion of these questions with Jack Schaedel, GABA Industry Co-Chair Workplace CA and Labor and Employment Partner with FordHarrison LLP.
Schaedel has spent nearly 25 years assisting employers in labor and employment law matters, including defending wage-hour and employment litigation and providing advice and counsel in managing their workforces..

The discussion will be moderated by Michael Wolff, GABA Industry Co-Chair Workplace CA and Managing Partner at Dickerson Insurance Service. Wolff holds a German Law Degree and is the Managing Partner of Dickerson Employee Benefits in Los Angeles. Beforehand he spent 13 years in the German diplomatic service heading legal, press and cultural divisions. His last posting was Consul for Press & Legal Affairs at the Consulate General of Germany in Los Angeles.
