Deutschlandjahr USA Celebrates 6 Months

After hundreds of events across the country and lots of memories, the Year of German-American Friendship –  launched on October 3, 2018 under the motto “Wunderbar Together” – has already reached its halfway point!

So far, an average of four events have been happening every day in towns and cities across all 50 states. More than 717 events have already taken place thanks to the hard work of our 274 partnering organizations, institutions, and individuals. We’re just getting started – Wunderbar Together will have hosted more than 1,500 events by the end of the year!

To celebrate, the organizers of Wunderbar Together created a video highlighting the projects, places, and people that have made these six months so special and showcasing the many ways that Germany and the US are Wunderbar Together!
