On August 31, 2017, the Villa Aurora will present their summer fellows at a reception. The new fellows are:
Sebastian Mez, a filmmaker, video- and soundartist. He studied at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany specializing in film directing;
Ignaz Schick, Berlin based turntablist, composer, sound and visual artists & curator;
Annette Streyl, a Hamburg-based visual artist focused on sculpture in a traditional as well as in a contemporary sense;
Andreas Schäfer, a writer who studied German literature and theology in Frankfurt/Main and Berlin;
Genoël von Lilienstern, a composer who studied his craft in Bremen and Berlin and Sonology in The Hague.
