Award-winning children’s and teen book author Andreas Steinhöfel brings his characters to life – tender, empathetic, simple, with a heart. He received the Erich Kästner Prize for Literature in 2009 and the German Children’s Literature Award in 2013. In addition to writing books for young readers, he translates, writes for television and radio, and edits graphic novels. For this reading he shares excerpts from his Rico, Oscar series.
