The unforgettable Peter Alexander , born June 30th 1926 in Vienna, has died on February 12th, 2011.
Countless movies and sketches like this parody of the “Golden Girls” have made him a beloved icon. From 1963 until 1996 he had his own TV show, “Die Peter Alexander Show”. Alone in Germany he had quotas around 38 million viewers, that were otherwise only reached during Soccer world cups.

Unforgettable in his beloved movies like “Die Fledermaus” still a classic TV staple around New Year’s.

  2. Peter Alexander ist tot. Ein großer Entertainer ist von uns gegangen. Er war bis zu seinem Ende aktiv und gerne gesehen. Man hörte von ihm keine Skandale. Er war einfach angenehm. Friede seiner Asche.
