The AATG (American Association of Teachers of German) sent out a reminder today to apply for funds from the “Deutsch macht Spass Grant,” a program to promote German in the U.S.,
by August 15, 2017.
Grants up to $500 are available to support local events which promote German learning and engagement with German culture.

Schools are also invited to get recognized as a German Center of Excellence. The German Center of Excellence program identifies and honors excellence at all levels of instruction K-16.
