The Volaris Group, a software firm based in Canada, has announced that it has agreed a deal to acquire Zeit AG. Upon completion of the deal, the two companies will seek to expand their competencies in the area of operational management.
Zeit AG, a software firm for operational time tracking services based in Sursee in the canton of Lucerne, has been acquired by the Volaris Group, a software company from Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario. With this takeover, Volaris, which specializes in software for vertical markets, intends to integrate the competencies of Zeit AG in its own portfolio, further details of which can be found in a press release. Software packages for growth planning, market presence and product development are all included in the offering of Volaris, while for its part, Zeit AG offers time tracking and planning programs in the form of its ProLine and Bridge4ERP products. The solutions are available in both Software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premise models.
“I look forward to working with Zeit AG to continue to deliver increasing value to their customers and supporting its mission to deliver new time tracking and workforce management innovation”, comments Alice Luo, Chief Strategy Officer at the Volaris Group, in the press release. “Volaris best practices and learning opportunities can help position Zeit AG for success and growth”, she adds.
“The Volaris Group’s approach is to buy and hold the companies they acquire – meaning our customers can have confidence in a stable home for our team and technology”, as Stefan Müller, CEO of Zeit AG, concludes in the press release. The company will continue to operate independently under its current leadership team.
