Have students take part in the biggest German language competition – die Internationale Deutscholympiade! Students from the U.S. participate in two national preliminary rounds and can qualify for the international finals in Hamburg. The top 16 finishers of the first pre-round win prizes and a stipend to travel to the second pre-round (including trip, meals, program and overnight stay) in Chicago. The top two U.S. German Olympians and one accompanying teacher receive a scholarship to travel to Hamburg in the summer of 2022. Find more info and sign up by October 15!
Following the Motto ZEIG DER WELT WAS DU KANNST! Goethe-Institut are looking for two students to represent the USA at the world finals of the IDO in Hamburg. They will show their German language and culture skills in a competition with students from 75 countries.
