In the context of “Germany Week”, the German Consulate General in Chicago is organizing the American Folk Blues Festival, featuring live concerts, a panel discussion, a performance by German boogie-woogie pianist Frank Muschalle, and a screening of Wim Wenders’ The Soul of a Man, as well as an exhibition at the Blues Heaven Foundation from April 27 to May 11.

Opening of exhibition (AFBF posters, photos and letters about the relationship between the American musicians and the German promoters). The exhibition will run through May 11 (Tues – Sat 12-4) at the foundation.
