57th Annual German-American Steuben Parade of NYC
Each year on the third weekend of September, The German-American Steuben Parade is held on Manhattan’s famous Fifth Avenue. The Parade is sponsored by the German-American Committee of Greater New York, Inc., and is organized by the German-American Steuben Parade Committee in a concerted effort between many German-American Organizations.

The expert imbibers of the Young German-American Club (YGAC) take you to their favorite watering holes in Manhattan for drinks, while traveling aboard a double-decker bus. STEUBEN PARADE WELCOMES GROUPS FROM GERMANY

The Steuben Parade Committee formally welcomes 22 groups from Germany and 1 from Switzerland that will march in this year’s Parade. Join us for a special opportunity to hear the marching bands warm up for their performance on Fifth Avenue. Location: Foley Square/Thomas Paine Park, Manhattan. There is no Cover Charge for this cultural event!
STEUBEN PARADE GALA

The Gala this year will be held on the beautiful and spacious yacht Hornblower Infinity leaving from Pier 40 in NYC. Standard and Premium Tickets for the Steuben Parade Gala are now available. Tickets are $200 for standard seating or $500 for VIP Cocktail and VIP Dinner Seating. These tickets can be purchased with paypal on our website store. GERMAN-AMERICAN STEUBEN PARADE

The German-American Steuben Parade is one of the most colorful and fun parades in New York City – marching up Fifth Avenue from 68th to 86th Street, it brings out music and dance groups, marching bands, karneval groups and people in “Tracht”, the traditional clothing worn in many different German regions. The 57th Annual Steuben Parade will be led by Grand Marshal John Muller, Emmy Award-winning American Journalist, born in Queens and raised in Long Island. A highlight of the Steuben Parade are the many themed floats and the dances performed by many of the marching groups from all over Germany and the United States.
The Steuben Parade is FREE to watch, and no tickets are necessary. However, there is a Grand Stand on Fifth Avenue and 79th Street; Tickets are $15 and include prime seating in view of the red carpet, where the dance performances are.
