The 500th anniversary of the beer purity law is going to be celebrated throughout Germany, but particularly in Bavaria. In Munich, a 3-day beer festival will take place from July 22-24 officially named the “Festival of Bavarian Beer Culture.” The Bavarian capital is well prepared for the occasion: Around 100 Bavarian breweries will be presenting their best beers in downtown Munich, so that visitors can enjoy Bavaria’s beer diversity at the beer benches between white pagodas and high-class tents.
