Who knew that German could actually be cool enough to lend it’s Grammar to the natives in the most successful movie of all times, Avatar’s Na’vi?
The natives of the fictional planet Pandora speak a made up language created by Paul Frommer a linguistics expert at USC.
Na’vi language is similar to Star Trek’s Klingon or to Elvish a complete language with a consistent sound system, morphology, syntax.Β There is a Polynesian/Maori influence, some African and some Native American and a bit of Latin languages and this amalgam is held together by nothing less than German Grammar, where the verb comes fairly fast compared to other languages.
I like neither Na’vi nor Klingon, as the future global language. Especially when you have to dress up for it π
We also need a future international language. One which is easy to learn, as well !
And that’s not English! Esperanto? Let’s move forward π
At least Bill Shatner speaks Esperanto.

German is not too hard to learn, you will find many similarities compared to English. A fun way to do it is a language course in Germany. Check our website http://www.cometogermany.com/ENU/infocenter/germany_for_the_youth_language_holidays_studying_au-pair.htm to find the right class/program for you!
