With a party on February 1, the AJC (American Jewish Committee) will celebrate its 15-year anniversary .300 selected guests from the German society and politics are invited. German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will held a greeting at the event, which will take place in the famous “Hotel Adlon” in Berlin.
Since the opening, fifteen years ago, the AJC Berlin Ramer Institute is known as an assemblage point for the transatlantic dialogue in the heart of Europe. German chancellor, Angela Merkel, appreciates the AJC as an important partner for the Federal Republic of Germany.
As a part of the evening, Lawrence Ramer (1998-2012) and Lee Ramer, founders of the AJC Ramer Institute for German-Jewish relations, will receive the “Ernst Cramer Award For Outstanding Contributions to American German-Jewish Understanding“.
