“A German Life,” the German-Austrian film competing for the Oscars, is showing at Cinema Village in New York from December 22 – 28, 2017.
This very timely film about Joseph Goebbel’s secretary Brunhilde Pomsel’s life sheds a light on human nature and reveals an incredible analogy with the events of the present day. “A German Life” goes far beyond the historical surface – it deals with the more general issue of personal responsibility and morality and delivers a warning from history to the politicians and voters of today.
Location: Cinema Village Theaters, 22 East 12th Street, New York, 10003
